Ella Langley Ties Billboard Hot 100 Record With 19-Week Run

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has spent its 19th week atop the Billboard Hot 100.

She ties Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” as the longest-running non-holiday track in chart history.

First released in October 2025, the song delivered Langley her debut Number One in February before surging over the summer, sitting at the top spot since July 4.

It marks the longest Hot 100 reign ever by a female country artist.

Langley told Rolling Stone…

“Everyone can relate to wanting something that doesn’t want you back. I’m giving my heart to people a lot. And that’s scary.”

Langley’s sophomore album Dandelion is out now.
