2020 Emmy’s Highlights: Schitt’s Creek CLEANS Up!

Perhaps the only good thing to come out of 2020 is this year’s Emmy’s. Not only did they proceed to go off without a hitch (other than Jimmy Kimmel’s little fire), but the little Canadian Show That Could Schitt’s Creek took home NINE awards.

This is also the first Canadian comedy show to win in all four comedy categories, which are:  Best Writing, Best Directing, Best Lead Actor (Eugene Levy) and Best Lead Actress (Catherine O’Hara).

On top of his other wins, Dan Levy took home an award for Best Supporting Actor.

And of course, Best Supporting Actress went to Miss Alexis, Annie Murphy.

ON TOP OF ALL THIS JOY, Eugene & Dan Levy became the first father-son duo to win Emmy’s in the same year.
