By this far into 2020 you should know by now that if we’re talking about an old TV show or movie, it’s in the Daily Scoop cause it’s getting a reboot.

The latest to get this treatment: Night Court!

You remember the show… Premiered in ’84. Starred the Honorable Judge Harry T. Stone played by Harry Anderson.

He ran the night shift at a Manhatten night municipal court, which always featuring interesting characters on both sides of the law.

So far, the only confirmed former cast member returning is John Larroquette, who played sex-addicted prosecutor Dan Fielding during the show’s nine-season run.

Since Anderson tragically passed away only a couple years ago, fans are wondering what will happen with the plot.

Rest assured, his Judge Stone will not be recast. Instead, the plot will surround his daughter Abby Stone, who will further her father’s legacy as presiding judge of a night court.

No word yet on who will play her.
