A TikTok video featuring 74-year-old George Strait performing his 1985 classic “The Chair” during his Austin concert series at Moody Center has captured widespread attention online.

Social media users praised both the nostalgic performance and Strait’s enduring appeal, with comments including “My favorite George Strait song” and “greatest male country voice ever!!”

Others focused on his appearance, writing “Still crushing on him” and “That man is aging like fine wine!!!!!!”

Since his 1981 debut, Strait has released over 30 platinum records and achieved 60 number-one singles as the only performer in history to have a Top 10 hit every year for over 30 years.
