Dolly Parton’s Nephew Dismissed As Head Of Security After 20 Years

Dolly Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, has been fired as head of security for her properties following more than two decades in the role.

According to TMZ, Seaver received a termination notice last Wednesday, immediately removing him and his security companies from every Parton property.

He’s the same one who broke the news of her passing.

The Estate was also granted a temporary restraining order against him. They allege that he threatened to smear her legacy and made violent threats toward her employees.  He also told Dolly’s entertainment attorney, “I’m not an entertainment person.  I’m a killer.'” 

Replacement guards have since taken over her Nashville home, museum, downtown residence, and warehouse.

Seaver inherited the position from his father, Larry Seaver. He and his team blamed Parton’s manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank for the dismissal, calling the actions “bad faith.”

“We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family,” Seaver’s team said.

Parton died August 25th in Nashville following a brief battle with cancer.
