Christie, Marie (Age 96, Tara)

Marie Christie of Tara passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, April 13th, in her 97th year.

Beloved mother of Jim & Helen, Larry & Heather, Janice & Bob, mother-in-law of Rose & Bev. Cherished grandmother of ten grand and eleven great-grandchildren. Marie will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley, on Sunday, April 19th, from 2 – 5 p.m. with a Royal Canadian Legion service beginning at 1:45 p.m. A funeral service honouring Marie’s life will be held at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Monday, April 20th, at 1 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow from 2:30 – 5 p.m. at the Tara Legion.
