Weaver, Doreen (Age 96, Durham)

Doreen Weaver, formerly Hopkins of Durham, passed away peacefully at Abbeyfield House, Durham on Wednesday, April 29th in her 97th year.

Beloved wife of the late Royden and the late James. Loving mother of Craig, Susan & Don, and the late Brad. Dear mother-in-law of Helen and her friend Don. Cherished grandmother of 7. Proud great-grandmother of 14. Dear sister of Bill, and Carol.

Visitation will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Sunday, May 3rd from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Doreen’s life will be held at the Durham Presbyterian Church on Monday at 11:30 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
