Dan + Shay Just Released A New Song About Suicide Prevention

They released a new song called “Say So,” and it’s about suicide prevention.
It was inspired by the loss of a mutual friend last year. While the subject matter of the song is heavy, they hope it offers hope to people.
The duo emphasized the song’s personal nature and serious subject matter.
They credited extended studio sessions for inspiring their “most inspired burst of creativity” since their 2013 album Where It All Began.
“No matter what it looks like on the outside, you never know what somebody’s battling with on the inside. And as Dan mentioned, both he and I have struggled with that.”
