Check out the fascinating world hiding in the Rainforest! Step “Under the Canopy” to visit a beautiful exhibit that focuses on the animals and ecology of the rainforest. Meet the keeper and find out how these animals live their day to day lives in this astonishing climate. Talk with a tortoise! Make friends with a marmoset! Be captivated by the colours of a chameleon. You can even pet a python! Explore wildlife of the rainforest while learning about environmental issues across the world, and here at home. Plus, private birthday parties are available too!
After you’re finished with the rainforest, make sure you explore Moreston Heritage Village! Wander the picturesque ten acre historical village, chat with the costumed interpreters, and visit with the farm animals! The village is open daily and features an 1850’s Pioneer Log Cabin, a one-room schoolhouse, a blacksmith shop and so much more. Step into the past as you take a stroll through Moreston Heritage Village!
Also being featured this summer, Surviving the Unthinkable: Citizen Soldiers of Grey. This exhibit commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of the first World War. It shows the experiences of the men and women of Grey County as they fought to hold onto humanity in the face of brutality.
