Celebrity Status – New Movies, New Music And Everything’s Coming Up Jonas

The Jonas Brothers put out a 20th anniversary statement, saying there will be much to celebrate in 2025. New Jonas Brothers music, solo bro music, a live concert album, a soundtrack… plus, Nick Jonas returns to Broadway this spring and they’re wrapping up production in Toronto on a Holiday movie. No official tour or concert announcement, but they did say to expect more announcements in the coming days and weeks.

At the movies, Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson makes his return to the MCU, this time as Captain America in ‘Brave New World’, which also stars Danny Ramirez, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford, and more.

Also in theaters, fall in love again with Britain’s best bear, and take a trip to South America with ‘Paddington in Peru’

The Gorge on Apple TV+ stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller, along with Sigourney Weaver. It’s a high-action love story about two elite operatives stationed in towers on opposite sides of a massive gorge to protect humanity from the danger within.

The third season of Yellowjackets comes to Showtime today. Hilary Swank guest-stars this season, along with Joel McHale. Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci are back, with Elijah Wood returning in a recurring role too.

In music news, Drake dropped a new album called Some Sexy Songs 4U. It’s a collab with Party Next Door… and Alessia Cara has a new album too, called Love in Hyperbole.

Selena Gomez announced a surprise album with fiancé Benny Blanco. “I Said I Love You First,” coming in March, is the couple’s first full-length collaboration.

And there are reports that Bianca Censori and Kanye West are headed for divorce…
