Local Photographer Empowering Young Girls

Jennifer Jacquot is a local photographer, based in Walkerton, and she recently took some photos of a local girls ball team. The Walkerton Diamonds Rockets.

Jennifer says “Often girls in sports get major labels put on them. Rough. Tomboy. Too sporty. Not girly. Ugly. Boyish. All sorts of labels which can make some give up on those sports. I wanted to prove that girls not only can be incredible athletes but also beautiful.”
