Don’t Be Afraid To Try
January 4, 2021 8:45 amI saw this thread on Twitter from actor / comedian Gerry Dee. Of course best known for his show Mr. D.
You don’t have to know who he is to take some advice from this or inspiration.
For myself, I was 26 when I started the Radio Broadcasting program at Humber College. Some people in my family thought I was nuts. “You won’t be able to do that.” “Are you crazy.”
But, I did it. I’m not no Ryan Seacrest, but I’ve been doing this Radio thing full time fore almost 15 years.
Long story short, don’t be afraid to try. Yeah, it can be scary, but if you never try, you will never know.
Have a read of Gerry’s thread below.
