The Matrix: Resurrections opened yesterday. Also out now for the Christmas holiday weekend, a reimagining of The Tragedy of Macbeth stars Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand. Also, Ralph Fiennes and Gemma Arterton star in The King’s Man… and the animated Sing 2 with the voices of Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Scarlett Johansson, among others.
…and coming to Netflix tomorrow, Don’t Look Up. There’s a planet-killing comet hurtling toward Earth and the world isn’t paying attention. This one stars… everyone. Meryl Streep, Leonardo diCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill among many others.
Michael Keaton is dusting off his signature cape and cowl for the upcoming “Batgirl” movie. It doesn’t have an exact release date, but it’s scheduled to debut on HBO Max next year. Keaton will also be seen as the Caped Crusader in next year’s “The Flash.”
There’s a pizza place in the East Village in New York that Ryan Reynolds has been going to for years, he recently told a podcast. He said, “They believe I’m Ben Affleck and I’ve never corrected them.”
