Meta will rock the metaverse this Sunday. Meta will host a free, livestreamed concert by Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters on Sunday, immediately after the Super Bowl. It will be on Facebook, Instagram and as a virtual-reality concert in Horizon Venues, the company’s social VR app.
The Razzie nominations are out. And Bruce Willis’ performances in eight films from 2021 will be recognized by a special category this year — Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie. “Ouch…” At least he’s guaranteed a win!
The Oscar nominations are being announced this morning… Don’t Look Up has been nominated in the Best Picture category along with Dune, King Richard, West Side Story, and Belfast among others. Steven Speilberg is among the Best Director nominees. And other nods go to Nicole Kidman, Javier Bardem, Jessica Chastain, Olivia Colman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Will Smith and Denzel Washington.
An upcoming biopic called “Michael” will document the turbulent life and career of Michael Jackson. The biopic will not only depict his “most iconic performances,” but also offer “informed insight” into his personal life, with input from his estate. No cast details or release date just yet.
