April 14, 2022 10:16 amFor Thursday, April 14th:
Lizzo’s new single ‘About Damn Time’ drops today and she has a new shapewear line attached to Kate Hudson’s Fabletics line. She will also make her “Saturday Night Live” debut as host this weekend, AND will be the musical guest, too.
The First Lady premieres this Sunday on Showtime with Betty Ford played by Michelle Pfeiffer, Viola Davis as Michelle Obama and Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt. While the women all do a great job the show over all isn’t getting great reviews.
At the movies, Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law are back in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, opening in theatres this weekend. Side note: Warner Bros. has complied with the Chinese government and removed lines from the new Fantastic Beasts movie that confirms the relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald.
The first trailer for The Kids in the Hall revival on Amazon Prime is out. Pete Davidson, Catherine O’Hara, Kenan Thompson, Mark Hamill, and Colin Mochrie and many others will all make guest appearances. The series is on Prime May 13th
In case you missed it this week…American Idol frontrunner Kenedi Anderson has left the competition citing personal reasons. The 17-year-old had received one of three coveted platinum tickets sending her straight to Hollywood and past the first round of cuts.
…and Dancing With The Stars is leaving ABC after 16 years and heading to Disney+
… which is where you’ll also find the new incarnation of the Kardashians, if you’re so inclined
