For Tuesday, July 12th:

It’s official: Lea Michele will take over the Broadway role of Funny Girl’s Fanny Brice from Beanie Feldstein, who announced over the weekend that she would be leaving at the end of the month. Anyone who watched GLEE knows Rachel Barry can do this — not everyone thinks she’s a dream to work with though, so we’ll have to see how that goes.

Sometimes math is … like, really hard. Even if you’re a math professor. Jeopardy contestant Robert Won won on Friday by calculating his final wager perfectly. He returned as a champion last night only to leave a loser after miscalculating his final wager and losing by two dollars.

A League of Their Own is coming to the small screen as a series. Based on the movie of the same name, the series will once again follow the Rockford Peaches of the All-American Girls Baseball League in the 1940s. Nick Offerman stars as their coach, the role made famous by Tom Hanks…and Rosie O’Donnell, who was in the original, will have a small role. It premieres Aug. 12th on Prime Video. I wonder if this time there WILL be crying in baseball.

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey will play Matt Bomer‘s secret boyfriend in a Showtime limited series, called Fellow Travelers
…and foodies can lool for a new show called Kitchen Crash (series debut) on the Food Network.

Shark Week 2022 will have 23 different specials and Dwayne Johnson and Tracy Morgan are among the celebrities joining in Shark Week festivities, starting July 24th. But if you just can’t wait, you can get a sneak peek with a couple of specials airing on July 15th.
