Celebrity Status – Movies, High School, A Swift Edit And Rihanna Is Back!
October 28, 2022 10:03 amFor Friday, October 28th:
At the movies… Elizabeth Banks stars in Call Jane. Her character navigates an all-male medical establishment in the years before Roe v. Wade, as she seeks an abortion to save her life.
Millie Bobby Brown is back in Enola Holmes 2, this time on her first official case as a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother Sherlock.
Coldplay’s record-breaking Music Of The Spheres world tour is coming to some theatres this weekend as a live broadcast from their sold out concert in Buenos Aires. Looks like London and Guelph are the closest locations for us.
Elsewhere… today on Prime, it’s the series debut of ‘High School’… based on the best-selling memoir of Canadian twin sister duo Tegan and Sara. TikTok sensations and twins Railey and Seazynn Gilliland play the pair as they search for their own identities while growing up in Calgary in the ‘90s.
Taylor Swift’s music video for “Anti-Hero” has been edited to remove a scene that shows her stepping on a bathroom scale that says “fat.” It really shouldn’t have been there in the first place!
….and today’s the day! New music from Rihanna is here! Lift Me Up is one of her two tracks on the soundtrack for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, and is a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.
