Guns are about to be a-blazin’ on the Amalfi Coast, as filming is officially underway for The Equalizer 3, starring Denzel Washington, Dakota Fanning, and Gaia Scodellaro. No word on the plot, but it will be in theatres next September.
Pete Davidson writes and stars in the streaming comedy Bupkis, based on his life. Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson and more have joined the cast. Bupkis previously cast Edie Falco as Davidson’s mother, and Joe Pesci as his grandfather. Peacock has not announced a premiere date yet.
Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy will soon bring us his directorial film debut. He will star alongside Ruth Negga, Himesh Patel, Luke Evans, and more in ‘Good Grief’, an exploration of friendship and loss. Elsewhere, Levy is working on a comedy series for HBO Max called ‘Exit Strategy’ and is starring in the 2023 Disney movie ‘Haunted Mansion’.
Matthew Perry says he didn’t know how to stop drinking at the height of his fame. He also reveals in his new memoir ‘Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing’ that he nearly died in 2018 because of his addictions. Look for it November 1st.
