Celebrity Status – SZA, Swift, Box Office And A Beauty Celebration
December 12, 2022 9:09 amFor Monday, December 12th:
At the box office it was a fairly quiet weekend…‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is still number one but with only $11.1 million. ‘Violent Night’ with David Harbour from Stranger Things as a twisted Santa took second place and the animated ‘Strange World’ came in third.
After directing her ‘All Too Well’ short film, Taylor Swift will make her feature directing debut with Searchlight Pictures and a screenplay she wrote herself. Details on the upcoming project are pretty scarce as yet.
If you’ve heard of the upcoming docuseries ‘The Price of GLEE’ it should be noted that none of the original cast or creator Ryan Murphy are involved. Many of the cast members have denounced the series as gossip TV.
In other headlines, Cher‘s mother, former actress and singer Georgia Holt, passed away at the age of 96.
This Thursday look for ‘Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration’ on ABC
and SZA‘s new album is finally out… and the reviews are great!
