Celebrity Status – Globes, Gwen, And Ryan Goes All AI
January 11, 2023 9:49 amFor Wednesday, January 11th:
The Golden Globes returned to TV last night. Ke Huy Quan, the former child star of Indiana Jones, and Michelle Yeoh both won for their roles in Everything Everywhere All at Once. Austin Butler won for his performance as Elvis, and other winners included Colin Farrell, Cate Blanchett and Angela Bassett.
On the TV side, Quinta Brunson, the creator and star of ‘Abbott Elementary’, was a winner along with Julia Garner for Ozark, Kevin Costner for Yellowstone and Zendaya for Euphoria. And Eddie Murphy closed his Golden Globes speech with an unexpected reference to the Will Smith Oscars slap.
In a new interview with Allure, Gwen Stefani has once again addressed longstanding accusations of cultural appropriation, this time declaring that she has been so inspired by the culture of Japan that she considers herself Japanese. Ummm, oh-kaaaayy…?? Her reps didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday.
Ryan Reynolds used Chat GPT, an AI Chat bot, to write an ad for his Mint mobile company – and it did a surprisingly good job! If you follow him you may have already seen it on his socials.
After her relationship with Pete Davidson, Emily Ratajkowski is now rumoured to be dating another comedian: Eric Andre. Never underestimate the power of making someone laugh!
