For Wednesday, February 1st:

While preparing to promote Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic earlier this year, TMZ is reporting that Lisa Marie “began taking weight loss meds” and sources also tell TMZ that she was reportedly taking opioids. The cause of her death is yet to be determined. Meanwhile, her mother Priscilla Presley, is questioning the legality of documents that changed who will oversee the estate.

Some of this year’s JUNO nominees include Avril Lavigne, Preston Pablo, Banx and Ranx, Rêve, Shawn Mendes, Tate McRae, Michael Buble and The Weeknd, who had the most nominations with six, including Fan’s Choice, Single of the Year, both Best Album and Best Pop Album, as well as Artist and Songwriter of the Year. He now has 40 JUNO nominations and 17 wins, tying him with The Tragically Hip.

Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger – is currently expecting her first child with her musician and producer boyfriend, RAC, and has decided to name the baby after a country as well. The little girl will be called Holland.

Julia Roberts and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up to star in and produce a body swap comedy. No other details just yet…but I’d watch that! And CBS has ordered a pilot for a Matlock reimagining with Kathy Bates in the lead. The original show went off the air 30 years ago.

Meghan Trainor appeared on the Today Show this week to announce that she’s pregnant with baby #2, and she has a new book, titled “Dear Future Mama,” which comes out April 25.

Elsewhere on TV… ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ makes its streaming debut on Disney+ today… …there’s a ‘Schoolhouse Rock!’ 50th Anniversary Singalong special on ABC… “Conjunction Junction, what’s your function?”

…and Still Standing with Johnny Harris came to Goderich last summer. That episode airs tonight at 8, and there’s a watch party happening at the Huron County Museum in Goderich. To reserve your seat, **IF** there’s still room, please email tourism@goderich.ca or call 519-524-6600.
