Ryan Reynolds has helped design the T-shirt for this year’s Terry Fox Run in September. He said, ‘I’ve been taking part in the Terry Fox Run since second grade…’ and is proud to be a part of the tribute to a Canadian hero. For the first time ever you can pre-order a shirt to receive it on April 12th, the anniversary of the date that Terry Fox began his run in 1980.
McDreamy is coming to Toronto next month! Former Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has joined Eli Roth’s new holiday slasher/horror movie, ‘Thanksgiving.’ The film’s plot is currently being kept under wraps for the most part, but Dempsey is set to play the town’s sheriff and the film is slated to begin shooting next month in Toronto.
Canadian singer Jully Black sang the Canadian National anthem at the NBA All-Star game on the weekend and caused a little stir with a slight change in the lyrics. Instead of ‘our home AND native land’ she sang ‘our home ON native land’ and reaction has been pretty positive.
At the movies over the weekend ‘Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ dominated the box office with earnings of $104 million and over $350 million worldwide.
