‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ got nearly all the gold coins over the weekend, taking in $146.4 million with a five-day total of over $200 million, and a global total of $377 million. Ben Affleck’s “Air” about the origins of Nike’s Air Jordan and how the corporation signed Michael Jordan, also debuted, tying ‘Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ for third place. ‘John Wick: Chapter 4′ barely beat them out for the second spot.
