“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” led ticket sales for the fourth straight weekend in North America with $40 million which takes its earnings beyond $1 billion, globally. Its stronghold on the box office is expected to end this coming weekend when “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” hits theatres. Second place went to the horror sequel “Evil Dead Rise” and Judy Blume’s “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret” was third.

Miley Cyrus’ mom Tish is engaged to Dominic Purcell of Prison Break. Back in February, Miley’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus, 61, said he was engaged to 34-year-old Australian singer Firerose. Tish filed for divorce from Billy Ray last April – for a third time – after 28 years of marriage. So…third time’s the charm, I guess??
