The Emmy nominations were announced yesterday and Succession‘s final season received 27 nominations, including nods for Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin, Jeremy Strong, and Sarah Snook in the Outstanding Lead Actor/Actress in a Drama Series categories alone.
Following closely behind are fellow HBO series The Last of Us and The White Lotus, which received 24 and 23 nominations respectively. Ted Lasso also picked up multiple nominations for its final season. The awards will be handed out Monday, Sept. 18
Tuesday afternoon, Tom Cruise surprised a Toronto audience attending a screening of his latest Mission Impossible movie. The seventh installment, ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning (Part One)’ is in theatres now, officially opening yesterday.

On Apple TV+ yesterday, it was the premiere of season two of The Afterparty starring Tiffany Haddish
The Blacklist wraps up tonight after 10 seasons with a 2-hour finale on NBC
Kevin Costner has been ordered to pay $129k per month in child support, more than double the proposed amount.
