Celebrity Status – Eras Movie, A Frustrated Fitty, And RiRi Doing Good Things
September 1, 2023 10:07 amFor Friday, September 1st:
Oh, Taylor… look what you made them do. The Exorcist: Believer has moved its opening day ahead by one week, to Oct. 6th because Taylor Swift announced that an Eras Tour concert film will hit theaters Oct. 13th. Tickets are on sale now and as with the Barbie movie hype, Taylor says dressing up in “Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing are encouraged.”
In theatres this weekend, Denzel Washington is back as Robert McCall in The Equalizer 3, this time taking on the Mafia. Dakota Fanning also stars. And in The Good Mother, Hilary Swank is a journalist grieving the murder of her son, while trying to find his killer.
More microphone mayhem! 50 Cent allegedly injured a concertgoer after he hurled a mic into the crowd at his show in LA on Wednesday night. Apparently he was handed two defective mics in a row and threw it in frustration.
Rihanna may be busy with two babies these days but she still made an effort to help disabled and homeless vets in Los Angeles, donating hundreds of hygiene kits, socks, clothes, sleeping bags, food, 50-plus pairs of shoes, toilet paper and more.
In other headlines, Luke Combs and his wife Nicole announced on Instagram yesterday that they welcomed baby No. 2 on Aug. 15th, a month early. They’ve named him Beau Lee Combs… Welcome to the world!
And coming up tonight @OnAirWithRyan, Selena Gomez is showcasing with her new banger #SingleSoon. Tune into The One at 7pm.
