Celebrity Status – Jelly Roll, George, And Judge Judy’s Lawsuit
May 14, 2024 9:57 amFor Tuesday, May 14th:
Katy Perry is leaving the judging panel of American Idol after seven seasons, and Ryan Seacrest has hinted that Jelly Roll could replace her on the show. And Katy seems to be on board. Jelly Roll says that every time he’s seen her, she’s like, “you need to be on ‘American Idol!” For his part, he says he’d clean the toilets at American Idol if that’s what they asked…
It’s time to get back to ‘The Office!’ The American version of “The Office” is getting a spin-off of sorts. It’s not a continuation of the Dunder-Mifflin storyline that you may have seen. That is unfortunately fake news. This time, the documentary crew will be following the publisher and volunteer reporters of a dying historic Midwestern newspaper. Currently untitled, the series will begin filming in July for an eventual release on Peacock.
George Clooney is set to make his Broadway debut in “Good Night, and Good Luck.” He will play legendary TV journalist Edward R. Murrow in a stage adaptation of the movie that earned him Oscar nominations for writing and directing.
Judge Judy is suing the parent company of The National Enquirer, alleging defamation, saying the publication’s false reports that she was trying to help secure a retrial for the Menendez brothers have made her a target of online hate.
Entertainment Weekly has learned that the MTV Movie & TV Awards will not take place this year, but will return in a revamped format next year… I guess we’ll never know who had the best movie kiss this year
NKOTB’s Joey McIntyre is on fire — Chicago Fire, that is, guest starring on this week’s episode on Wednesday.
