While “Joker: Folie a Deux” topped the weekend box office, it’s weak opening with $40 million in ticket sales is being called a ‘flop’, compared to the first “Joker,” which set an October record in 2019 with a $96.2 million opening. Some fans were upset by the lack of screen time for Lady Gaga too. “The Wild Robot” was second with $18.7 million and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” came in third.
