For Friday, October 25th:

Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy” won consecutive Emmy Awards but was canceled after two seasons because of cost-cutting measures at Warner Bros. Discovery, but Tucci has now filmed 10 episodes for “Tucci: The Heart of Italy,” a similar new show for National Geographic. The premiere date is unknown but he’s still doing that acting thing, filming the second season of the Amazon Prime series “Citadel” and he stars along with Ralph Fiennes, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini in the Vatican-set thriller ‘Conclave.’

Also in theaters, Daisy Ridley stars in the neo-noir film ‘Magpie’… and Tom Hardy is back for the third Venom movie, ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ — the final film in the trilogy.

Coming to Netflix today, ‘Beauty in Black’, a new drama series from Tyler Perry. And Netflix has the series premiere of new drama series ‘Territory’ today. Set in the Australian Outback, it’s about a cattle dynasty which runs the world’s largest cattle station. (I’m picturing Yellowstone down under…)

Elsewhere, After a couple of Netflix projects about their story, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón announced at a press conference Thursday that he will recommend a resentencing of the Menendez brothers that would make them eligible for immediate parole. He said, “I believe that they have paid their debt to society.”

The Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos is taking exception to Martha Stewart saying she would never do the show because ‘the guys aren’t hot enough’… kind of arrogant for Martha to assume she’d be asked isn’t it?

And Olivia Rodrigo just won the prestigious “Touring Artist of the Year” award from Billboard. Her GUTS world tour just wrapped up in Sydney, Australia, and gets its Netflix release next Tuesday.
