Celebrity Status – Taylor, Olivia, Cameron And More!
October 16, 2024 9:07 amYou might have heard…Taylor Swift has six sold-out shows next month in Toronto. The Eras Tour is expected to generate $282 million for Toronto’s economy, most of which will come from out of towners. I’m not even going to the concert but my friends and I are paying nearly 3-times the usual amount for a hotel room because Taylor’s in town. I’m over it though…
Cameron Diaz officially retired from acting in 2018 and she and her husband Benji Madden of the band Good Charlotte have welcomed two children since then. She also became a vintner – yes, a wine maker! But Cameron isn’t quite done with movies just yet. In January, she’ll star with Jamie Foxx in the action comedy ‘Back in Action’ for Netflix. The two previously worked together on ‘Any Given Sunday’ and her last film, ‘Annie’
Another day, another lawsuit... Dr. Dre is being sued for $10 million by his former therapist alleging ‘unbearable harassment.’ The hip-hop star, whose legal name is Andre Young, counters that it was Dr. Charles Sophy who behaved unprofessionally, and accused him of “dereliction of duties and incredible incompetence.”
It’s the series debut of Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? on Prime… and ‘Shrinking’ starring Jason Segal and Harrison Ford is back with season 2 today on Apple TV+. Co-creator and “Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent!) joins the show this season too.
And remember when Olivia Rodrigo fell in a hole in the stage at her Guts Tour in Australia over the weekend? Well, the next day she lost a chunk of her hair during the show. Sure, it was probably a hair extension but what if it wasn’t? Blink twice, Olivia, if you need a new stage manager!
