Celebrity Status – Minister Denzel, Merry Swiftmas, And Half Time Beyoncé

Denzel Washington has added another line to his resume… member of the clergy. Over the weekend he was baptized and received a minister’s license at the ‘Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ’ in New York. His father was also a minister in the same church.

Coming up tomorrow, Christmas Day, in theatres… the erotic thriller ‘Babygirl’, with Nicole Kidman as a high-powered CEO who risks her career and family when she begins an affair with her much-younger intern.
And Timothée Chalamet plays Bob Dylan in ‘A Complete Unknown.’ Elle Fanning and Edward Norton also star.

Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope in Bridgerton says it’s ‘quite nice being a modern girl for once’… she is Joy in ‘Doctor Who: Joy to the World‘ which hits Disney+ tomorrow on Christmas Day.

Also tomorrow, Beyoncé will be doing a half time performance in her hometown of Houston as the Texans take on the Ravens… and Squid Game season 2 comes to Netflix on Boxing Day.

Merry Swiftmas! After her visit to the Children’s Hospital in Kansas City, Taylor Swift sent some gifts to patients. One had mentioned she wanted a Dyson AirWrap for Christmas so Taylor sent her one. And she sent a matching plaid outfit to a teenage patient who called her outfit that day ‘Tea’
