Celebrity Status – Mufasa And Sonic At The Movies, Taylor, Josh And Nicholas

Taylor Swift and friends celebrated the end of the Eras with a tour wrap party this week. Guests dressed according to different Swift album “eras” and wore homemade friendship bracelets. One comment from a Kansas City Chiefs WAG said “It was, a congratulations party. And a surprise from Trav.”

At the movies this weekend, ”Mufasa: The Lion King” prequel roars into theaters along with “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”… On Netflix, from Tyler Perry, ‘The Six Triple Eight’ is the true story of the only US Women’s Army Corps unit-of-color stationed overseas during WWII.

The TV special ”Josh Groban & Friends: Go Home For the Holidays” is on CBS tonight, and Nicholas Hoult stars in Clint Eastwood’s ‘Juror #2’ which comes to Crave today.

Nicholas Hoult will also star in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman reboot as Lex Luthor. David Corenswet is Superman himself with Rachel Brosnahan, aka The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, as Lois Lane. A new trailer is out now.

It will be a busy 2025 for Rachel Brosnahan. Before we see her as Lois Lane in ‘Superman’, she will star in the thriller ‘The Amateur’ opposite Rami Malek and she’ll also kick off the year on Celebrity Jeopardy, which starts January 8th.

And John Mayer has bought Jim Henson’s studio lot for $45 million. It’s already the premier recording studio on the West Coast — that’s where We Are the World was recorded in the 80s — and he and his co-buyer, producer/director McG, plan to keep things as they are.
