Celebrity Status – New Year, New Bachelor, New Meghan, And A Carrie Concert Special

Ryan Seacrest is fresh off the ball drop in Times Square, and as he looks ahead to 2025 one of his goals is to give away a million dollars on Wheel of Fortune. So it sounds like a good year to try to get on the show! And a goal is a goal, right? But I dare say it’s an easier one to complete when you’re using someone else’s money.

Carrie Underwood, who hangs out with Ryan now on American Idol as a judge, has a ‘Reflection’ Concert Special coming January 24th to Disney+. It will highlight her Las Vegas residency over the last few years, with dates for the Reflection shows coming up in March and April.

And if you want to go to Vegas this year there is no shortage of artists that will be there performing. Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas, Joan Jett, Josh Groban, Maroon 5, Keith Urban, Barry Manilow, Pitbull, Shania Twain, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie… NKOTB, even Donny Osmond!

‘Lockerbie: A Search For Truth’ is a limited series starring Colin Firth, about the 1988 explosion of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. It comes to Peacock today.

ICYMI: There’s a sneak preview of the new season of “The Bachelor” which finds the women all in a tizzy over new Bachelor Grant Ellis, with one of the contestants saying… ‘Is he real?’

And Megan Markle is back, hard launching her new Instagram page yesterday. Her handle is simply @meghan. It’s unclear if she will be moving her new brand American Riviera Orchard, to that page… it has its own page after all, but look for more of both Meghan and her new brand this year on the ‘gram.
