For Monday, February 3rd:

In addition to raising funds for the FireAid cause, the Grammys were all about the ladies last night. Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan all had great performances early in the show, with Sabrina winning for Pop Album, Chappell for Best new Artist and Beyoncé picking up Album of the Year — finally! — and Country Album of the Year. Her surprised reaction has gone viral. Many used their speeches and the red carpet to speak up about trans rights, healthcare, immigration, and artist compensation.

Other winners included Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars for best pop duo performance, Kendrick Lamar who will be Half Timing it at the Super Bowl this weekend, won for Record and Song of the Year for the Drake diss track, Not Like Us. Doechii won for best rap album, Shakira for best Latin pop album and Alicia Keys was given the global impact award.

At the box office, the animated “Dog Man” fetched $36 million in ticket sales, making it the biggest debut yet in 2025. Voices in this one include Pete Davidson and Isla Fisher, and with a budget of just $40 million it’s well on its way to making some money. Another new movie, the horror comedy “Companion,” was made for 10 million and took in $9.5 million for second place, and “Mufasa” was third.

Elsewhere, there’s a teaser trailer out for Meghan 2.0, coming to theatres at the end of June.

And Justin Baldoni’s legal team published a website Saturday containing documents pertaining to the ‘It Ends With Us’ legal battle with his co-star Blake Lively, and leaked texts from her and Ryan Reynolds.
