Celebrity Status – New Movies, Sequels, And Bruce County Honours Owen Riegling!

Pete Davidson might have a new girlfriend. He and model Elsie Hewitt are reportedly the new It couple of the spring. The Daily Mail published photos of them canoodling in Palm Beach. She has previously been romantically linked to Jason Sudeikis, Benny Blanco, and Ryan Philippe.

In theatres, Robert De Niro plays two roles in “The Alto Knights.” He is both mob boss Vito Genovese and mob boss Frank Costello… and the thriller ‘Locked’ has Bill Skarsgard on the receiving end of evil for a change, as a car thief who gets trapped in a luxury SUV by its diabolical owner played by Anthony Hopkins.

Also in theatres, Rachel Zegler becomes Snow White in the latest live action version, alongside Gal Gadot as the evil queen. The Washington Post calls it ‘surprisingly entertaining’ and many consider it the best of Disney’s live action remakes, although the CGI dwarves may not be the greatest. And Wicked makes its streaming debut on Peacock.

In other movie news, Disney has announced a sequel to Pixar’s 2017 Oscar-winning hit Coco, which will arrive in theaters in 2029. Universal is moving forward with a new Meet the Parents sequel. Ben Stiller and Robert de Niro will both be back.

And in other headlines, Quinta Brunson, the creator and star of Abbott Elementary has filed for divorce from her husband of three years…. Someone’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed, if pics are to be believed… but whose star is it??

And this guy’s star continues to rise… Owen Riegling has received a Coronation Medal and recognition from Bruce County for his remarkable achievements in the music industry. Perhaps his next award will be a JUNO!
