Celebrity Status – Stranger Things Prequel, Jelly Roll, And George Clooney

For Wednesday, April 23rd:

The Tennessee Board of Parole on Tuesday unanimously recommended a pardon for country music star Jelly Roll,. He’s a Nashville native and has spoken openly about his criminal record and what it has taken to overcome it. He’s hoping to be able to travel internationally (more easlily) to perform and share his message of redemption.

In addition to ‘Survivor’ and ‘The Amazing Race,’ Wednesday is now about ‘Battle Camp’. Contestants from Love Is Blind, Cheer, Selling the OC and other Netflix stars will compete in grueling physical and mental challenges in hopes of winning $250,000. It comes to Netflix today.

‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow’ is a prequel to the show that’s NOT coming to Netflix… it’s coming to Broadway. It’s set 25 years earlier in the late 50s and follows a young Henry Creel (played by Louis McCartney) who carries a darkness within him, as people seem to do in the fictional town of Hawkins, Ind..

‘The Golden Bachelor’ announced this week that former NFL player Mel Owens is the season 2 bachelor. A premiere date for the new season has not yet been announced.

And George Clooney told Gayle King in a “CBS Mornings” interview on Monday that he and his wife Amal have never had an argument. The internet is of course calling BS on that, saying it’s impossible. But I don’t know… I mean, it’s possible. Sometimes it’s a choice .. For example, if my husband just agreed with everything I say there would be no arguments, right?? lol
