On Friday, TMZ reported that Justin Baldoni‘s team has subpoenaed Taylor Swift to testify during the sexual harassment trial linked to Blake Lively and their film It Ends With Us. Taylor’s team responded, saying she had nothing to do with the film except allowing one song to be used, and calling the subpoena an attempt to draw interest and create click bait. They’re not wrong!
At theatres over the weekend, none of the new offerings made much of an impact. In its second weekend, ‘Thunderbolts’ struck box office gold once again with more than $33 million. ‘Sinners’ added more than $21 million for second place and ‘A Minecraft Movie’ was third.
Tom Cruise dodged a question about Trump tariffs at a promotional event for Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning in Seoul last week, saying ‘We’d rather answer questions about the movie.’ Of course, what Trump’s supposed 100% tariffs actually mean is yet to be seen.
Amber Heard has added to her family with a special Mother’s Day arrival. She welcomed twins yesterday via surrogate. Her son Ocean and daughter Agnes join big sister Oonagh.
