Fox News announced that Kristen Bell, Malcolm McDowell, Sean Astin, and more would provide voices in the biblical podcast The Life of Jesus. The project seems to be repurposing audio recorded 15 years ago for a bible audiobook. Representatives for multiple actors involved tell Entertainment Weekly that they “had no knowledge” of the project until this week. Kristen Bell for one didn’t know about the podcast until she was asked to promote it on Fox & Friends this week.
At the movies, Elphaba and Galinda bring the wonder and the darkness back to theaters with ‘Wicked: For Good’, the epic conclusion to their magical story. Also in theatres, Brendan Fraser stars in ‘Rental Family’ as a struggling actor who finds purpose when he gets hired to work at a rental family service…
On streaming, Mark Wahlberg is back for ‘The Family Plan 2’ on AppleTV… and on Netflix Joel Edgerton stars in the drama ‘Train Dreams’, and Ted Danson is still the ‘Man on the Inside’. Season 2 has his real life wife Mary Steenburgen joining the cast.
In other headlines, Following a 200-lb weight loss, Jelly Roll has shaved off his facial hair. His wife says even she has never seen him clean shaven until now.
