Congratulations are in order for Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt… they are now the proud parents of a baby girl. Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson was born last Friday, December 12th. Scottie’s first name is a tribute to Pete Davidson’s father Scott, a New York City firefighter who was killed while responding to the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

At the movies, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, the third installment in James Cameron‘s Avatar universe, sees the Sully family still reeling from the loss of their son, while still fighting the human RDA colonization of Pandora, and facing a new threat. PLUS one for the kiddies that’s a little less intense… ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants’ is out today.

Also in theaters, Amanda Seyfried, Sydney Sweeney, and Brandon Sklenar star in the psychological thriller, ‘The Housemaid’. Entertainment Weekly named it one of the 10 best movies of 2025, and Director Paul Feig promises theatergoers a ‘Hitchcockian’ good time.

On the Hallmark Channel (W Network in Canada) ‘Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas’ has its season finale.

And on Saturday Night Live this weekend, Ariana Grande will host with musical guest Cher, in only her second ever booking as the musical guest; the first was 38 years ago.
