Sydney Sweeney climbed the Hollywood sign to hang bras as part of a campaign to promote her lingerie line and could now face charges. While she did obtain a permit from FilmLA to shoot at the Hollywood sign, she reportedly didn’t get the proper permission from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the intellectual property rights to the Hollywood sign and the commercial use of its images.
American Idol’s 24th season kicked off last night. The first day of auditions included a man whose voice is already known to some on social media, because his girlfriend shares videos in which he can be heard singing in the shower. Bryant Thomas wowed judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood and then proceeded to propose to his girlfriend, Alyona. She said yes!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first appearance ever at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah last Saturday to promote their documentary ‘Cookie Queens’, which follows four Girl Scouts as they sell cookies. Meanwhile, Harry was at a London High Court last week to continue his privacy lawsuit against the Daily Mail, and his stalker was directly behind him on two separate occasions. His security team noticed her but apparently there is nothing they could do; it’s a public building.
Pharrell Williams is being sued by his former producing partner, Chad Hugo, who was also in Pharrell’s band N.E.R.D. He claims he was denied access to financial records and Pharrell withheld profits from their music projects.
And Kanye West took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal to apologize for his previous antisemitic statements, saying that medical issues influenced his behavior and that he “lost touch with reality.”
