For Wednesday, January 7th:

Will Smith and a management company are being sued by a touring musician formerly on Will’s ‘Based on a True Story Tour’ accusing them of retaliation, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Violinist Brian King Joseph claims he was fired shortly after reporting an alleged intrusion into his hotel room by an unknown person. He believes Will Smith was part of the decision to fire him but does not name him in the harassment.

The Simpsons has retired an iconic character after 30 seasons. The fan-favorite character was first introduced in a classic episode in 1997. But is it a character or a mascot? Without completely spoiling the news, you can check out the latest episode to see who it is.

Also on the small screen, The Price Is Right at Night special is on CBS and some shows are back. The Masked Singer and Hollywood Squares both have their season premieres.

George Clooney finally allowed his son Alexander to watch his turn as the caped crusader in 1997’s Batman and Robin, partly because the boy didn’t believe his dad had played Batman. While it was not a hit with adults at the time, apparently 8-yr-olds like it!

In other headlines… Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban finalize divorce after 19 years of marriage.

And the first trailer is out  for The Death of Robin Hood starring Hugh Jackman, and it shines a light on the darker side of the story
