Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane passed away yesterday at the age of 53. His death fell on the 20th anniversary of his first appearance as plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Sloan, aka McSteamy, on Grey’s and less than a year after revealing his diagnosis of ALS or Lou Gherig’s disease. His memoir, ‘Book of Days: A Memoir in Moments’ is scheduled to be published late this year.
At the movies, in ‘The Dreadful’ Anne and her mother-in-law Morwen live a solitary life on the outskirts of society – but when a man from their past returns, he will set off a sequence of events that become a turning point. It stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington along with Marcia Gay Harden.
And in ‘How to Make a Killing’ Glen Powell is playing a man who was disowned at birth by his wealthy family but now will stop at nothing to get his part of the inheritance.
On Apple TV, after being on the run for five years Owen (played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) shows up on season 2 of The Last Thing He Told Me, which has big implications for his wife Hannah, played by Jennifer Garner. AND on Saturday it’s the season premiere of Shoresy.
And Kate Hudson wants to bring mom Goldie Hawn as her Oscars date this year, 56 years after Goldie won a golden statue. She won for Best Supporting Actress in 1970 for the movie “Cactus Flower,” but she wasn’t able to be there because she was filming in London.
