Celebrity Status – A Hannah-versary, And The Bachelorette’s Ex Issues

On Monday, production on season 5 of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ was paused as Police investigated an alleged domestic assault incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen, with allegations going in both directions. She is the new Bachelorette, and admits that all of the negative headlines are detracting from what should be an exciting time. The Bachelorette premieres Sunday on ABC.

Terrence Howard said last week on the PBD podcast that he could have dated Beyoncé, but he passed and instead romanced another member of Destiny’s Child. That other member, Farrah Franklin, doesn’t quite remember it that way. She says there was no real romance… they just hung out a few times. She was only briefly part of the group.

Hannah Montana was a show but also had best-selling albums and a movie to boot, and now Miley Cyrus is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show and the character that kick-started her career. In the anniversary special trailer that was released yesterday, none of Miley’s castmates appear to be on set except her dad Billy Ray. Her mom will be part of it too. What we do know for sure? The special airs March 24th on Disney+ and it’s hosted by Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper.

‘Outcome’ is a new film by Jonah Hill, in which he stars alongside Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer. It’s a dark comedy that centers on a beloved Hollywood star played by Keanu who is being extorted with a mysterious video to ruin his image. Look for it April 10 on Apple TV.
