At the box office, ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ blasted off with nearly $131 million over the weekend and $372.5 million globally, making it the biggest opening of the year for a Hollywood movie. “Project Hail Mary,” landed in second spot with another $30.7 million in north America. Worldwide, it’s made $421 million to date. And Third place went to “The Drama,” starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.

The Goo Goo Dolls took the stage in London, Ont. on Saturday night, but then called off their remaining Canadian tour dates because Frontman John Rzeznik ‘diagnosed with pneumonia and has not fully recovered.’

Cash Cab is back after a 12-year hiatus! Season 10 of the show has been greenlit, produced by Toronto’s Castlewood Productions. Adam Growe is set to return as host, with two new episodes to air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Much, beginning April 22nd. The series, which last aired a new season in 2014, will also be available to stream on Crave.

‘The Blue Jays Way’ is a seven-part Sportsnet docuseries set to premiere in July, celebrating the 50th season of the Toronto Blue Jays. It chronicles the team’s history from its 1977 debut to last year’s World Series, and features player interviews and highlights from 50 years of franchise history.

Tori Spelling and four of her children were hospitalized after a serious car crash. Her vehicle was struck by a driver who was allegedly speeding and ran through a red light, according to TMZ.

And Owen Riegling has been nominated for four Country Music Association – Ontario awards.
