Celebrity Status – Sydney, Amanda, The Housemaid, And Where’s Owen?

Freida McFadden, the author of The Housemaid, has revealed her true identity. Her real name is actually Sara Cohen, and she works as a physician who treats brain disorders. Her goal was to keep it a secret until she was ready to step back a bit from doctoring. She has dozens of novels to her name now, including three sequels to ‘The Housemaid’. The second movie in the series will arrive late next year, and Sydney Sweeney will be back as Millie.

Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney stepped out for the premiere of Euphoria‘s third and final season with her boyfriend Scooter Braun. The two have been dating since meeting last September at Jeff Bezos’s wedding in Italy. 

Amanda Seyfried, who was also in ‘The Housemaid’, will voice Cinderella in the upcoming animated Netflix movie ‘Steps’ focused on Cinderella’s evil stepsisters. The fractured fairytale will be released later this year

The so-called ‘Ketamine Queen’ who sold the drugs that killed Matthew Perry has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. Jasveen Sangha has been behind bars since her August 2024 arrest.

Mildmay’s Owen Riegling will be performing in London, Kitchener and Hamilton this fall as part of his In The Feeling tour. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am but there is a presale on now. April 18th he’s at Massey Hall and on Sunday, April 19th he will be doing an autograph signing and photo op at Sunrise Records in Hamilton, with the preorder or day-of purchase of his new album.

Saturday Night Live reveals its final hosts for season 51, including Will Ferrell‘s return with
Paul McCartney as musical guest for the season finale on May 16th. Before that we will Olivia Rodrigo pull double duty and Matt Damon will host with Noah Kahan as musical guest.
