And the producer duo of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan are in talks to create two more installments of the true crime Monster series. The news was shared via Netflix’s Twitter account, where the streaming platform announced the producers responsible for The Jefferey Dahmer Story and The Watcher would go on to create two other series related to “monstrous figures who have impacted society.” On top of this groundbreaking news, Netflix also announced The Watcher‘s second season has been officially greenlit.
JIMMY KIMMEL RETURNS AS HOST FOR THE 95TH OSCARS _ Jimmy Kimmel is back as host of the 95th Oscars in 2023, marking the late-night star’s third time leading the ceremony — which he last did five years ago. Kimmel’s return was announced Monday.
BLACK PANTHER’S DANIEL KALUUYA JOINS 2023 MARVEL MOVIE _ Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse already has a growing cast of Spider-Men from a different universe, but it seems that Marvel has added another stellar actor from Black Panther to the sequel. The Hollywood Reporter shared that Black Panther star Daniel Kaluuya has joined the voice cast of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse as Hobart “Hobie” Brown, a.k.a. Spider-Punk.
… Kaluuya joins an all-star cast that includes returning actors Oscar Isaac, Bryan Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Hailee Steinfeld, and Shameik Moore as Miles Morales.
ZOOTOPIA+ TRAILER _ 2016 saw Disney release one of its biggest original animated hits in recent memory in the form of Zootopia, a movie that went on to earn a stunning $1 billion at the global box office. For those who have been eagerly awaiting a return to the mammal-filled universe, Zootopia+ is hitting Disney+ tomorrow (November 9). KELLY CLARKSON SHOW RENEWED THROUGH 2025 _ The Kelly Clarkson Show has been renewed through 2025. The series airs in syndication in 211 markets and is in its fourth season.
GEARS OF WAR UNIVERSE IS COMING TO NETFLIX _ The Gears of War universe is coming to Netflix. The streamer will first adapt the video game saga into a live action feature film, followed by an adult animated series, with the potential for more stories to follow.

REBEL WILSON WELCOMES FIRST CHILD VIA SURROGATE _ Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson has announced the birth of her first child, a girl named Royce Lillian, was born via surrogate a few days ago. On social media, the 42-year-old actress wrote: “I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making. But particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!”
RYAN SEACREST SELLS BEVERLY HILLS HOME _ Ryan Seacrest is bidding his final farewell to Los Angeles, because he just unloaded his last big property there — selling the mansion he once acquired from Ellen DeGeneres. Ryan just closed on the sale of his sprawling Beverly Hills estate for $51 million. Ryan originally put the home on the market back in November 2020, when he was seeking $85 million. The property didn’t sell and Ryan put it back on the market earlier this year for $69 million.
… Ryan bought it from Ellen for $36.5 million back in 2012.
… These days he’s living in New York, where he co-hosts Live with Kelly and Ryan.
