Celebrity Status – Bridgerton Is Back, Plus Sandler, Rodrigo And Tim McGraw

Bridgerton is back, baby! Season three, part one, hits Netflix today! Colin and Penelope‘s budding relationship will be front and center, and Nicola Coughlan who plays Penelope, reveals more than just her love this season. Let’s just say there was an intimacy coordinator involved.

Netflix also has a couple of upcoming series in the works. Tim McGraw is gearing up to play a champion bull-rider as he navigates a critical turning point in his career. Meanwhile Will Ferrell and Ramy Youssef will co-create and star in a new comedy series titled “Golf” for Netflix. Few details are available, but Ferrell will play a fictional golf legend.

Plus, Adam Sandler is officially starring in Happy Gilmore 2. Netflix confirmed the rumors yesterday but did not provide plot details or a release date. And Netflix will be broadcasting 2 NFL games live on Christmas Day… the Chiefs and Steelers, as well as the Ravens and Texans.

Five years ago we were gearing up for the series finale of The Big Bang Theory… and tonight is the series finale of Young Sheldon with an appearance by grown up Sheldon and Amy.

In other headlines, Olivia Rodrigo danced her way through an onstage wardrobe malfunction during her sold-out London show this week, and finished the song before getting it fixed offstage.

In case you need more incarnations of Jeopardy, it looks like ‘Jeopardy!’ is getting a new Pop Culture Trivia spinoff at Amazon Prime Video. There is no host yet (so maybe I still have a shot! ~Julie B lol)

And Benny Blanco said in an interview with Howard Stern this week that he’s ready to have kids with girlfriend Selena Gomez. Don’t worry, she knows!
