Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae is getting some online backlash for her new ad, in which she says she’s going to meet Team USA at the Winter Games. She then mentions U.S Figure Skating, American skier Lindsay Vonn and heading back to the States for the Super Bowl.

Chiwetel Ejiofor is the latest actor to join the growing cast of The Exorcist, and is reported to be playing an ex-con turned priest. Mike Flanagan wrote the script and is directing and producing the new movie that he says is neither a remake nor a sequel but set in the Exorcist “universe.” Ejiofor joins a cast with Scarlett Johansson, Jacobi Jupe, and Diane Lane.

Despite publicly denigrating the show at times and particularly co-host Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is returning to ‘The View’ while Alyssa Farah Griffin is on maternity leave. Things could get a little spicy!

Apple TV’s new take on the ’Cape Fear’ movie is going to be a series starring Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and Javier Bardem. The streamer revealed a first look at the 10-episode series Tuesday during a press event in Santa Monica. The series premieres June 5th 

And The Westminster Dog Show honoured Catherine O’Hara this week, with a sweet tribute during the competition, especially making note of her role in the movie ‘Best in Show’ with Eugene Levy. The overall winner this year was a pretty Doberman named Penny.
