An Ottawa-based research lab has named Windsor has the most challenging place to live in Canada in 2026 if you have pollen allergies.

Aerobiology says rankings are based on the length of the season and the number of days with high or very high airborne pollen concentrations. The overall report found City of Windsor has longer and stronger concentration of pollen during the seasons largely driven by dense surrounding vegetation, favourable climate conditions, and the abundance of highly allergenic species such as birch, oak, and ragweed.

Researchers found an estimated eight to 10 million Canadians — or one in five — are affected by pollen from trees, grasses, and weeds, with symptoms including nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, and itchy or watery eyes.

The Top 5 most challenging places to live with pollen allergies in 2026: (1) Windsor (2) Hamilton (3) Barrie (4) Victoria, B.C. (5) Kingston.

The Canadian city with lowest seasonal pollen burden in 2026? St. John’s, Newfoundland.

The 2026 NFL Draft begins tonight.

The 91st edition of the NFL Draft will be hosted in Pittsburgh for the first time since 1948. A total of 257 picks will be spread over seven rounds and three days from April 23-25th. One change is the time between first-round selections has been shortened from 10 minutes to eight minutes.

The Las Vegas Raiders (1), NY Jets (2), Arizona Cardinals (3) are the top three picks. The Detroit Lions have the 17th overall pick.

Heinz will sponsor the 57th pick. the 57th draft pick will get a lifetime supply of Heinz 57 ketchup. The pick will be dubbed “Mr. 57”.

The NFL plans to cut down on prank calls during the draft. Last year, several players received crank calls telling them they had been drafted. A single club contact will guard the numbers and stop outsiders from calling. The Atlanta Falcons were fined $250,000 because the defensive coordinator’s son made a crank call and impersonated a general manager.
