The fair runs until Sunday just outside of Memorial Arena on Tweedsmuir Ave, in Chatham. This event is an annual fundraiser for the Chatham Kinsmen Club.

United Way Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent is hosting Period Promise tonight.

A community collection event at The Match Eatery in Chatham from 4 to 7 p.m.

The event aims to fight period poverty and reduce stigma around menstrual health by collecting donated hygiene products for people in need across Chatham-Kent. The evening will include networking, complimentary appetizers, and prize draws.

CKMORNINGS host and Chatham-Kent Barnstormers MVP of Fun Allanah Wills will host.

Tonight is Trivia Night at Sons of Kent in support of Rise House International.

Cost is $20 per person at the door. Trivia begins at 7pm with some awesome prizes to be won.

Good news for drivers in Chatham-Kent heading into the weekend – Gas prices dropped overnight, down about 10 cents per litre. The last time the prices were this low was in April.

Diesel will also drop seven-cents to fall below $2 to 195.9 a litre .

Experts are saying gas prices are again expected fall 3 cents/litre on Friday.

Ferrari is going electric.

This week they unveiled its first fully electric vehicle, called the Luce, and it’s still very much a Ferrari — fast, powerful, and expensive. It can hit more than 310 kilometres an hour, go from zero to 100 in just 2.5 seconds, and travel over 530 kilometres on a charge.

The Luce is also a big change for Ferrari. It’s Ferrari’s heaviest car ever, only its second four-door model, and its first five-seater.
